| WHO AM I? |
...... a photographer living in a beautiful part of South Oxfordshire.
I've been involved in photography since the 1950's (in my twenties!) when I first started taking photos in a serious way and because of my interest got involved in processing my own film and prints in a spare room in my parents house.
I ended up working in professional photography for the best part of my life; representing Ilford Ltd in an important area of London, as Sales Director for a company specializing in giant enlarging for TV and exhibitions and finally re-organising and running the J Allan Cash Photolibrary for some years. In 1985 I decided to branch out on my own as a freelance.
So it doesn't take much to work out that I'm a very Senior Citizen now - but still fascinated in the art and business of photography and still very involved in personally producing high quality work in two main areas.

| ALAN GREELEY PHOTO-RESTORE |
I've earned an excellent reputation for high quality restoration of photo images of all types - transparency, print and digital, colour, black/white and sepia.
I still maintain my traditional photo darkroom so together with modern computer techniques I have the ability to correct the deterioration, damage and fading that old original images usually suffer from.
I can honestly say that the results I achieve give a new lease of life to these valuable images as they will look as good as when they were first made.. |
| ALAN GREELEY PHOTOFILE |
My original photolibrary was all based on colour transparencies and black/white prints and I still have a sizeable collection in that format and which I still access.
With the revolution of digital photography all photolibraries have now switched to digital and I've done the same gradually incorporating these analogue images into my digital collection. |
| I HOPE YOU WILL SPEND A LITTLE TIME BROWSING THROUGH THE PICTURES ON THE NEXT FEW PAGES. |
